MAJOR WIP

First time in a while painting
Not much of a painter, but so far so good. My arm kept jolting in place and twitching (I definitely don't have surgeon fingers!)

I'd say that I'm doing a good job so far, just have to learn how to blend more effectively. Using gouache paints for the skin color and regular black acrylic for the black background and hair.

The acrylic is a bit glossy, so I might use a black gouache wash OR use a wax medium to make it more matte.
Please, I need help with that decision. Which one should I choose??

Goodness gracious, digital is just so much easier. I thought, in my toxic trait, that I would make the lines, for the hair and lashes, perfect. I was dead wrong. How do y'all do this?
Definitely just practice, I know 😅
